Eat

On a Monday afternoon, 

the 4 of us finally went to Charlie Brown Cafe located at Cine. (near Somerset MRT)

The cafe was filled with Charlie Brown and Snoopy pictures, dolls, and even television shows!
Basically, the cafe's interior caught our eyes.
It was mostly in light brown and yellow colour which brought forward a cute look.

We decided to sit by the window and have our meal.

The menu was not as interesting as i thought it would be. It just had lots of characters printed on it but no special design such as fonts.

Also, the pictures taken of the food in the menu did not look so good.

I thought that the cost of the food/drinks/desserts were pretty expensive for student.

So the 4 of us decided to order 2 main dishes and 2 desserts to share. (luckily we weren't that hungry)

As seen in the pictures above, the interior of the cafe was filled with the Charlie Brown theme like the wallpapers and figurines of the characters of the cartoon. 

Even the program shown on the television was 'Peanuts'.

How interesting....

The cafe was really clean, and there weren't many customers (only 2 tables were taken up, including us) so it was a nice place to sit and talk without having to feel the need to leave quickly.

Lamb Chop & Hawaiian Pizza

The placing of the pizza looked really good. 

Unlike the normal pizza pan that we see at pizzerias, it was served on a wood pan.

From the image above, it can be seen that the food looks really yummy.

As for the lamb chop, the displaying of the food did not look as appetizing as the pizza.

The brownie looked really simple and plain,

but the taste of it was delicious.

This dessert was probably what we actually hoped for the best taste in the cafe as the chocolate fudge art was really cute and eye-catching because it suits the whole 'charlie brown' theme.

So this chocolate fudge costs $8.90 and the scoop of ice cream was $3...

Taste wise, it was alright, but a little dry and the ice cream didn't taste anything like cookies & cream.

It was quite disappointing because it looked really good but...oh well.

All in all,

the food was pretty good!

"Jenn, you look like Snoopy. Go take a picture."

The three pictures above were taken before lunch infront of a graffiti wall next to Triple One Somerset building, (There was a name of this place but can't remember the name of it.)

The graffiti wall were in bright, and strong colours.

Basically, it looked really artsy. 

After our lunch at Charlie Brown cafe, we went on to SCAPE to take more pictures.

There was another wall filled with black and white graffiti-like drawings that we used as the background of out photos.

Although the walls were only in black and white, i think that it did look good.

i'm happy :-)

PRINCESS TIME

There was another group work previously, but it was done in class so i did not think there was much to post about.

However for the second group work, it was done within a time span of 1 week!

Basically we were divided into groups of 5 and were given  (if i remember correctly) 15 pictures to take on a piece of paper.

And we did! Ran around outside of school during lesson time to take pictures of what we were given.

Out of the 15(?) pictures we took, we had to decide on just 10 and create a story with it in the form of a book/video/etc.

My princesses and i decided to go with a book.

(Yes, we're princesses. I'm a princess; Ice princess)

All the running and sweating made us the first to reach back to class after the photo-taking session and we made time for some pictures yay.

After everyone was back in class, all the groups had to discuss about the story line.

Which my group did not.( We did, but not really)

Basically, we met up on a Sunday for the group work.

Library was definitely not the place we should have gone to but we did. (and almost got chased out HAHAH)

We discussed on the story-line in the library and decided to leave after that before really getting chased out.

McDonalds was indeed the place for us to just laugh out as loud as we want.

There was 5 of us in the group.

4 of us met up.

1 left early.

and it ended up with 3 of us doing the book.

(though i left after the book was 3/4 done muahaha)

But!

I am proud to say that the story book turned out really good!

So, here's the story

'PRINCESS TIME'

Once upon a time, there lived an orphan girl named cocaine.

"trust me she doesn't do drugs"

She has issues with her family bc they r all dead but she was aware that she had 2 sisters and thats all she needed to know.

but she has always wanted to FLY bc she remembered her sisters tossing her up in the air and she enjoyed it.

Fortunately, she died from flying.

It all started out when a mysterious letter flew into her face when she was flying and she tumbled down towards the earth.

The last thing she read was "look out for the F**** Crow Mother" , little did she know what followed after were the phrase "sh*t will happen" 

Cocaine woke up in the spirit world and her hair turned green.

She was sleepy so she went back to sleep. She dreamt about a crow which turns out to be the crow mother she was looking for.

The crow told her,

"With the bus she shall reach,

The first thing you see,

Will be the first thing you need."

The crow transformed into its human form flaunt her boobs and left.

(yes, that's Naomi Neo)

Cocaine boarded the bus and the first thing she saw when she alighted were icy storm clouds.

A hailstorm was coming.

At that moment she knew that her sister had something to do with ice.

Cocaine stepped out of the sheltered zone and embraced the hail storm, it hurts but it was worth it.

Her sister finally appeared, wearing the "I LOVE METH" shirt.

She finally knew the truth about her sister, she was the ice princess.

The continued the search together to find their elder sister, when they come across this tree with no leaves.

All of a sudden trees around them started to wither.

Cocaine and meth panicked, they jumped and tried catching the fallen leaves.

 Suddenly, there was this strong beam of light, it blinded the girls and when they regained their sight, they saw a girl.

She introduced herself and immediatedly the 3 of them could feel the special bond connecting the 3 of them together.

crystal, meth and cocaine.

Crystal revealed herself as the flower princess leaving cocaine searching for her identity herself.

After the reunion, the girls flew into the sky together and thats when a thought struck cocaine.

It was in her name all along cocaine starts with the letters COC, and with her green hair ....

it makes her the coconut princess.

Even though she died and was devastated she appeared to be strong like the husk of the coconut.

And so, the 3 princesses continued their adventures and lived happily ever after.

Year 1

OKAY, so it has been a month since the start of lessons in class VA1V and i have to say it's been great so far!

First 2 weeks was pretty boring as i didn't really know much of them yet.

But after that, we even celebrated a classmate's birthday together which made all of us closer in some way.

Now, i enjoy going to school to meet my NAFA friends yay! :-)

Honestly i was pretty afraid that i might not be able to make new friends in such a short period of time but yes i did, and im happy about it. Really!

If my first blog was about my journey home from school, i would not mind posting another blog about my journey in school for the past 1 fulfilling month with my new group of friends.

So here goes,

My first friend in class, JIE YI

She's 2 years older than me which was honestly pretty awkward because i never actually had a friend whose older but age does not matter because we are close now!

Our first fire drill in NAFA and none of us actually knew what was going on right at the front where someone(?) was talking.

We actually had to walk down and up the stairs, and it was really unfortunate that our classroom for the day was on the 5th floor. So we died climbing up the stairs back to the classroom after the drill.

Our lecturer planned to have a Hari Raya celebration in class on that day and everyone of us brought snacks and drink to class.

Also on that specific day (1/8/2014), it was Claris' 17th Birthday, so we had a mini celebration for her as well ^^

CLASS VA1V 

All in all, the past 1 month in school was great. Though it was all new in terms of the people, environment, rules and more, i think that i was able to get used to these changes all thanks to the people around me.

I am definitely going to have even more fun in school with my newly made friends!
